A great customer experience that I’ve had would have been
when I purchased my first vehicle. About a year ago I decided to make a huge
commitment and go to a car dealership and make a down payment on a car that
would be my own. Being young it’s very difficult for people in the business
world to take me seriously. So I greatly appreciated to deal with a wonderful
employee who actually treated me with the same respect he would as an older
more mature customer. That week I had visited other car dealerships and didn’t
get treated the same way as I did with Carmax. This man wouldn’t stop until I was
in the car I liked and that would suit my financial status. Going to high
school they never explained taxes and the interest that comes along with
getting your first car and putting a down payment. Saving money is the best
option when going to a dealership and that’s what he explained to me. He went over
all of the documents I needed and what the car conditions should be all in
detail and with patience! With being a car salesman you have this picture that
television and movies has created and that is how people will see you. This
idea is that you are pushy and will do anything to sell people cars and that also
means you tend to be extremely persistent on your job so this is partially
true. He was very persistent but in making the customer happy. Didn’t cheat me
out of a good deal and took the time to work with me all with a smile and that
was the day I drove out of the Carmax dealership happily with my new Dodge
Challenger! Thanks Arty! You give car salesman a great name!
